Jordan, Hungary Talk Bilateral Ties and Urgent Gaza Ceasefire Implementation

Jordan: Jordan's King Abdullah II and Hungarian President Tamas Sulyok underscored the importance of building on existing cooperation between the two countries across various sectors during talks held in Budapest on Thursday.

According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah, currently on an official visit to Hungary, stressed the need to ensure the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, viewing it as a crucial step toward achieving a broader and lasting de-escalation.

He also called for intensified international humanitarian efforts in Gaza and emphasized the urgency of halting unilateral actions in the West Bank and ending attacks on Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem.
