Jordan, Vietnam Hold Talks to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Hanoi: Vietnamese Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung met Thursday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries across various sectors. During this meeting, which coincided with the Jordanian monarch's visit to Vietnam, the ministers reached an agreement to convene the first session of political consultations next year.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers aim to develop a concrete roadmap to boost collaboration in key areas such as trade, investment, health, education, tourism, and other vital sectors. This initiative seeks to ensure that the outcomes of the King's meetings with Vietnamese leadership are translated into practical steps that benefit both nations.

On this occasion, Safadi commended Vietnam's supportive stance toward efforts to achieve a just peace in the Middle East based on the two-state solution and in accordance with international legitimacy.
