Doha: The Jordanian army thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs using a drone. According to Qatar News Agency, the Border Guard Forces in the Southern Military Zone intercepted a drone attempting to smuggle materials across the border in the early hours of Sunday, and managed to down the drone successfully within Jordanian territory. The intercepted materials were subsequently transferred to the competent authorities for investigation, Jordan's Petra News Agency reported.
