Amman: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met in Amman on Tuesday with Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Jorge Moreira da Silva to discuss the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. Both sides also addressed avenues for reinforcing cooperation and coordination between Jordan and UN humanitarian organizations to deliver humanitarian aid to the enclave.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing the mechanisms of delivering necessary assistance to the people in Gaza. The meeting emphasized the importance of international cooperation in addressing the humanitarian challenges faced by the residents of the region.
