Amman: Jordan's King Abdullah II met on Monday with Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, who is visiting Jordan, to discuss the latest regional developments. During the meeting, the Jordanian King stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to achieve stability in the region and respect the sovereignty of states.
According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah reiterated that the two-state solution is the only way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace, emphasizing the need for the Palestinian people to obtain all their legitimate rights. He noted the necessity of adhering to the ceasefire agreement in all its phases and delivering humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip without interruption. He warned of the dangers of continued escalation in the West Bank and attacks on holy sites in occupied Jerusalem.
