Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan discussed developments in the region with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Wednesday. The discussions, held in the Jordanian capital, centered on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring opportunities to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, both leaders emphasized the importance of continuing joint projects in key development sectors such as water and education. They expressed a mutual commitment to maintain and expand cooperation in these areas.
King Abdullah II noted that despite regional challenges over recent years, the relationship between Jordan and Germany has grown stronger. He highlighted the potential for further opportunities to emerge from this strengthened cooperation.
German President Steinmeier also acknowledged the close ties between the two nations, mentioning Germany's collaborative efforts with Jordan in delivering humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
