Doha, Isa Sami Al Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, participated in the Ninth Meeting of Assistant Ministers of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held in Doha. The meeting discussed key topics including the exchange of expertise in scientific research and best practices in endowments among member states, the development of papers on the role of ministries in supporting individuals with disabilities, and the preservation of historical mosques. They also focused on establishing a global day for endowments and the creation of a Gulf scientific observatory to promote moderate thinking and peaceful coexistence. Participants adopted recommendations to strengthen cooperation among GCC states in the areas of Islamic affairs and endowments, which will be submitted for approval at the tenth ministerial meeting.
