Doha: The Katara Arabic Language Festival commenced at Katara Wisdom Square, celebrating the Arabic language, its arts, and cultural splendor.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event will be ongoing until December 20 and includes children's competitions in the Arabic language, showcasing artistic talents in eloquence and poetic oratory. The festival also offers workshops that display Arabic calligraphy artworks and fine art exhibitions, highlighting the beauty of the language and its artistic expressions.

In conjunction with the festival, the Qatar International Arts Festival (QIAF) is taking place for the fourth consecutive day. This event has attracted over 500 artists from various continents, fostering a global exchange of artistic ideas and techniques. The festival features artistic conversations, workshops on live drawing, and interactive activities, and is scheduled to conclude on December 12.
