Doha: The ninth edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, known as "S'hail 2025," was inaugurated by Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, the General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), and will run until September 14. This year's event features participation from 21 countries and 202 prominent local, regional, and international companies, showcasing products related to hunting, falconry, and desert and safari equipment. According to Qatar News Agency, the exhibition includes numerous exhibitors, some joining for the first time, and displays the latest technologies, innovations, and high-end handcrafted products. These exhibits attract hunting and falconry enthusiasts from Qatar and around the world. The event is supported by the Social and Sports Contribution Fund (DAAM) and various national entities and institutions, with several ministries and other organizations offering services through their pavilions. Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, who also chairs the orga nizing committee, stated that the exhibition has solidified its international standing, drawing falconers and hunting enthusiasts worldwide. This year's edition features a significant expansion of the pavilion area by 2,000 square meters compared to last year, catering to increased demand from exhibitors. This expansion aims to enhance the diversity and scope of the exhibits and services offered. Dr. Al Sulaiti highlighted the growing economic and commercial significance of S'hail 2025. He emphasized the investment opportunities and strategic partnerships available, particularly in hunting tools and falcon care techniques. He commended the national companies for their participation and innovation in the hunting and travel sectors. Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mohammed bin Abdullatif Al Misnad, emphasized to QNA that the exhibition serves as an international platform for the latest technologies in hunting and falconry, supporting industry-related advancements. Malika Mohammed Al Shraim, a membe r of the organizing committee, stated that the exhibition is a destination for enthusiasts of falconry, hunting, and heritage from across the globe. She highlighted the S'hail online auction, which presents rare falcon species. The exhibition's activities are organized into various zones, including Zone A for ministries and nature reserves, Zone B for weapon and hunting rifle companies, and a European section for camping and hunting supplies. Zone C features caravans for hunting and safari trips, and a southern tent for processing weapons and ammunition. S'hail 2025 also offers a diverse program of cultural and artistic events, scientific lectures, and fine arts workshops. Companies present their latest products at competitive prices, and veterinary clinics provide medical services for falcons. The exhibition is open daily, with specific hours on Fridays, and visitors can book their entry through the S'hail app.
