King of Jordan, Prime Minister of UK Discuss Mideast Updates

Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Andy Burnham reviewed bilateral ties and the latest developments in the Middle East in a call on Saturday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Jordanian King highlighted the need for intensifying international efforts to regain stability in the region, noting that Amman will continue to take all necessary measures to safeguard Jordan's security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.

King Abdullah II stressed that an end needs to be put to Israel's dangerous escalations against Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
