Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan on Sunday warned of the dangerous repercussions of Israel's unilateral actions against the Palestinians in West Bank and the ongoing assaults on Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem.

According to Qatar News Agency, during his meeting with Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the UK House of Commons, Emily Thornberry, King Abdullah reaffirmed that the two-state solution is the only path to achieving stability in the region. He emphasized that Syria's security and stability are essential for regional stability.

The meeting also covered ways to strengthen relations between Jordan and United Kingdom, as well as discussions on regional developments.
