Ouagadougou: The ''Save the Kossi'' movement delivered, this Thursday, August 1, 2024 in Nouna, clothing kits, mosquito nets and peanuts, to internally displaced people from the villages surrounding Nouna. This donation is worth 4,600,000 FCFA. Nationals of the Kossi province, residing in Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso as well as those of the town of Nouna, responded to the call of the "Save the Kossi" movement, to relieve the distress of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). ). These displaced people come from the villages of Damahoun, Dassi, Kolonidala, Saint Martin, Kessekuy konkuikoro, Koro, Sampopo, Ouetté and Babasso, which have abandoned everything due to terrorist attacks and threats. There are 928 IDPs including 355 men, 495 women and 78 children who benefited this Thursday, August 1, 2024 in Nouna, from mats, shoes, clothing items, mosquito nets and 2 kilograms of peanuts for some.
