Erbil: President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Nechirvan Barzani on Wednesday discussed security developments and ISIS moves with Commander of International Coalition in Iraq and Syria, Brigadier General Kevin Lambert. Both sides emphasized that ISIS continues to pose a real threat to the security and stability of Iraq and Syria, which necessitates continued cooperation and coordination between all relevant parties and the prevention of any security vacuum in Iraq and Syria.

According to Qatar News Agency, the President of the Kurdistan Region and the Commander of Coalition Forces emphasized the importance of the continued role of the international coalition forces to achieve this goal.
