Kuwait and Vietnam Elevate Bilateral Ties to Strategic Partnership

Kuwait city: Kuwait and Vietnam have officially agreed to elevate their bilateral relations to a strategic partnership, highlighting the robust ties between the two nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, this announcement was made in a joint statement following Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to Kuwait from November 16 to 18. The strategic partnership is intended to bolster common interests and fulfill the aspirations of both Kuwaiti and Vietnamese citizens.

The two countries have expressed a mutual intention to expand dialogue and coordination mechanisms. This includes the enhancement of the Joint Governmental Committee's work and political consultations between the foreign ministries of both nations. These efforts aim to strengthen the implementation of existing agreements and memoranda of understanding, as well as to facilitate the exchange of views on regional and international issues of shared concern.
