Kuwait Announces Temporary Closure of Airspace Starting Monday Until Further Notice

Doha: Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced the temporary closure of Kuwaiti airspace starting Monday until further notice.

According to Qatar News Agency, this measure is being implemented as a precautionary step to ensure the security and safety of the country. This decision follows similar precautionary measures taken by several neighboring countries, which have included closing their airports and airspace.

The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported that the DGCA statement emphasized that the authorities are committed to maintaining the highest levels of safety and security amidst ongoing regional developments. The statement noted that there is ongoing coordination with relevant local and international authorities to monitor the situation and implement necessary actions as required.
