Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher as All Share Index Gains

Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index gained 11.32 points to reach 8,074.04 points, an increase of 0.14 percent. As many as 248.6 million shares valued at KWD 85.7 million (roughly USD 263.9 million) were traded via 17,305 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index rose by 21.90 points to reach 7,267.59 points, reflecting an increase of 0.30 percent. This movement involved 88.2 million shares transacted through 5,931 transactions, amounting to a value of KWD 16.2 million (approximately USD 49.8 million).

The Premier Market Index also saw an upward movement, climbing 9.21 points to reach 8,674.72, marking a rise of 0.11 percent. This was achieved through 160.4 million shares traded via 11,374 transactions valued at KWD 69.4 million (about USD 213.7 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index gained 36.87 points, reaching 7,078.87 points, an increase of 0.52 percent. This was facilitated by a stock volume of 70.2 million shares executed in 5,142 deals, totaling a value of KWD 14.3 million (around USD 44 million).
