Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher as All Share Index Gains 16.60 Points

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index gained 16.60 points to reach 8,673.51 points, an increase of 0.19 percent. As many as 169.6 million shares valued at KWD 58.15 million (roughly USD 177.3 million) were traded via 16,803 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went down by 25.46 points to reach 8,065.60 points, down by 0.31 percent, through 68.6 million shares done via 6,893 transactions valued at KWD 14.5 million (roughly USD 44.2 million).

The Premier Market Index gained 27.69 points to reach 9,253.21 points, up by 0.30 percent, through 100.9 million shares done via 9,910 transactions valued at KWD 43.5 million (roughly USD 132.6 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index went down by 28.13 points to reach 8,565.92 points, down by 0.33 percent, through stock volume of 48.5 million shares done in 3,945 deals at a value of KWD 10.2 million (roughly USD 33.11 million).
