Kuwait: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 59.54 points to reach 8,689.35 points, an increase of 0.69 percent. As many as 430.7 million shares valued at KWD 99.2 million (roughly USD 302.5 million) were traded via 26,317 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went up by 65 points to reach 7,779.54 points, reflecting a decline of 0.84 percent. This occurred through 229.15 million shares traded via 15,725 transactions, with a value of KWD 38.5 million (roughly USD 117.4 million).
The Premier Market Index also saw gains, rising by 61.12 points to reach 9,345.65 points, marking an increase of 0.66 percent. This was achieved through 201.5 million shares exchanged in 10,592 transactions, valued at KWD 60.6 million (roughly USD 184.8 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index increased by 116.71 points to reach 7,818.10 points, up by 1.52 percent. This was accomplished through a stock volume of 179.8 million shares executed in 9,555 deals, totaling a value of KWD 28.9 million (roughly USD 88.14 million).
