Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index gained 17.34 points to reach 7966.54 points, an increase of 0.22 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 304.6 million shares valued at KWD 66.5 million (roughly USD 203.4 million) were traded via 16598 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a downturn, dropping by 44.58 points to 7023.02 points, a decrease of 0.63 percent. This was achieved through 194.2 million shares traded via 10047 transactions, valued at KWD 27.7 million (roughly USD 84.7 million).
The Premier Market Index showed positive performance with a gain of 33.67 points, reaching 8595.57 points, up by 0.39 percent. This was on account of 110.4 million shares traded through 6551 transactions, valued at KWD 38.7 million (roughly USD 118.4 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse's Main 50 Index declined by 27.99 points to reach 7073.97 points, a decrease of 0.39 percent. This involved a stock volume of 160.5 million shares executed in 7637 deals at a value of KWD 23 million (roughly USD 70.3 million).
