Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index gained 3.7 points to reach 8,088.7 points, an increase of 0.05 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 459.9 million shares valued at KWD 102.4 million (roughly USD 314.3 million) were traded via 22,606 transactions. The Main Market Index saw an increase of 12.28 points, up by 0.18 percent, reaching 7,014.29 points. This was achieved through the trading of 282.16 million shares across 12,943 transactions, with a total value of KWD 42.6 million (roughly USD 131.7 million).

The Premier Market Index experienced a gain of 1.75 points, reaching 8,756.47, up by 0.02 percent. This was through the trading of 177.7 million shares conducted via 9,663 transactions, valued at KWD 59.4 million (roughly USD 182.3 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index increased by 63.64 points to reach 7,283.71 points, marking an increase of 0.88 percent. This was accomplished through a stock volume of 204.7 million shares done in 9,234 deals at a value of KWD 35.9 million (roughly USD 110.2 million).
