Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index lost 49.28 points to reach 8,884.72 points, a decrease of 0.32 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 491.2 million shares valued at KWD 88.269 million (roughly USD 269.9 million) were traded via 2,410 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a decline of 91.27 points, settling at 8,386.19 points, which marked a decrease of 1.08 percent. This was achieved through 342.5 million shares exchanged in 16,605 transactions valued at KWD 37.113 million (approximately USD 113.9 million).
The Premier Market Index also saw a decrease, losing 14.22 points to close at 9,448.12, down by 0.15 percent. This was facilitated through 148.9 million shares traded in 7,555 transactions valued at KWD 50.9 million (roughly USD 156.0 million).
Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index lost 91.89 points, reaching 8,571.80 points, a decrease of 1.06 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 114.6 million shares conducted in 7,868 deals, with a total value of KWD 18.5 million (approximately USD 56.6 million).
