Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index losing 8.04 points, settling at 7,483.71 points, marking a decrease of 0.11 percent. A total of 304.5 million shares, valued at KWD 76.2 million (approximately USD 234.6 million), were traded through 18,619 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index experienced a rise of 34.02 points, reaching 7,074.04 points, which represents an increase of 0.48 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 143.2 million shares via 8,996 transactions, with a total value of KWD 23.3 million (roughly USD 71.7 million).
The Premier Market Index, however, saw a decline of 19.57 points, closing at 7,953.72 points, down by 0.25 percent. This occurred through the exchange of 161.2 million shares in 9,623 transactions, valued at KWD 52.9 million (approximately USD 162.9 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse's Main 50 Index recorded a gain of 58.42 points, reaching 7,102.47 points, an increase of 0.83 percent. This was achieved with a stock volume of 82.5 million shares across 4,950 deals, amounting to a value of KWD 13.7 million (about USD 42.19 million).
