Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday with the All Share Index losing 116.70 points to settle at 7,893.43 points, marking a decrease of 1.46 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 512.4 million shares valued at KWD 111.9 million (approximately USD 342.4 million) were traded through 29,646 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a decline of 63.17 points to reach 6,849.74 points, down by 0.91 percent, with 193.3 million shares traded via 13,836 transactions, amounting to KWD 28.9 million (about USD 88.4 million).
The Premier Market Index experienced a loss of 135.81 points, closing at 8,543.84 points, a decrease of 1.56 percent, with 319.13 million shares traded through 15,810 transactions, valued at KWD 83 million (around USD 253.9 million). Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index fell by 91.85 points to 6,818.38 points, a reduction of 1.33 percent, through a stock volume of 124.3 million shares executed in 7,189 deals at a value of KWD 16.4 million (approximately USD 50.18 million).
