Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index lost 24.17 points to reach 8,779.54 points, a decrease of 0.27 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 305.3 million shares valued at KWD 74.7 million (roughly USD 228.5 million) were traded via 23,059 transactions. The Main Market Index decreased by 97.13 points to reach 8,145.03 points, marking a drop of 1.18 percent. This was achieved through 156.6 million shares conducted via 13,691 transactions, valued at KWD 27 million (roughly USD 82.6 million).
The Premier Market Index saw a decline as it lost 7.55 points to reach 9,370.92 points, down by 0.08 percent. This occurred through 149.7 million shares done via 9,368 transactions, valued at KWD 47.6 million (roughly USD 145.6 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index edged down by 94.49 points to reach 8,247.11 points, down by 1.13 percent. This was through a stock volume of 89.6 million shares conducted in 7,036 deals at a value of KWD 16.9 million (roughly USD 51.7 million).
