Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index losing 14.93 points to reach 8607.64 points, marking a decrease of 0.17 percent. The session saw a trading volume of approximately 946.8 million shares valued at KWD 115.8 million, equivalent to roughly USD 379 million, executed through 35,507 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index experienced an upward trend, gaining 30.70 points to reach 7373.44 points, an increase of 0.42 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 815.6 million shares in 28,000 transactions, valued at KWD 73.8 million, or approximately USD 241.5 million.
In contrast, the Premier Market Index saw a decline, losing 27.5 points to settle at 9340.82 points, down by 0.29 percent. This involved the trading of 131.2 million shares across 7,507 transactions, with a total value of KWD 42 million, approximately USD 137.4 million.
The Bourse Main 50 Index showed a slight increase, gaining 4.76 points to reach 7427.08 points, which is an increase of 0.06 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 558.4 million shares executed in 16,967 deals, valued at KWD 54.6 million, or about USD 178.7 million.
