Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index lost 8.74 points to reach 8,043.13 points, a decrease of 0.11 percent. As many as 335.6 million shares valued at KWD 83.8 million (roughly USD 257.2 million) were traded via 19,369 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went down by 19.07 points to reach 6,997.99 points, down by 0.27 percent, through 172.7 million shares done via 9,012 transactions valued at KWD 23.9 million (roughly USD 73.3 million).

The Premier Market Index saw a decline of 6.6 points to reach 8,701.32 points, down by 0.08 percent, with 162.8 million shares traded through 10,357 transactions valued at KWD 59.8 million (roughly USD 183.5 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index experienced a slight increase of 0.10 points to reach 7,296.59 points, with a stock volume of 117.8 million shares done in 6,281 deals at a value of KWD 18.3 million (roughly USD 56.18 million).
