Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday with the All Share Index losing 57.90 points, bringing it down to 8,849.70 points, reflecting a decrease of 0.65 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw 150.7 million shares exchanged, valued at KWD 42.15 million, which is approximately USD 128.5 million, executed through 11,941 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a drop of 31.21 points, settling at 8,271.18 points, a decline of 0.38 percent. This was achieved through 77.5 million shares traded in 6,484 transactions, valued at KWD 16.2 million, or roughly USD 49.4 million.
The Premier Market Index also showed a loss, decreasing by 67.28 points to 6,431.03 points, down by 0.71 percent. This was the result of 73.15 million shares traded across 5,457 transactions, with a total value of KWD 25.8 million, approximately USD 78.6 million. Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index fell by 43.97 points to close at 8,644.83 points, marking a 0.51 percent decline. This was based on a stock volume of 51.4 million shares, conducted through 4,030 deals, valued at KWD 11.8 million, or about USD 35.9 million.
