Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index gained 14.69 points to reach 8,923.02 points, an increase of 0.16 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, 677.5 million shares valued at KWD 151.7 million (roughly USD 462.6 million) were traded via 36,005 transactions. The Main Market Index increased by 26.78 points to reach 8,550.03 points, up by 0.31 percent, with 421.9 million shares exchanged through 25,605 transactions valued at KWD 77.4 million (roughly USD 236 million).

The Premier Market Index saw an increase of 12.41 points, reaching 9,456.96 points, up by 0.13 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 255.5 million shares via 10,400 transactions, valued at KWD 74.2 million (roughly USD 226.3 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse's Main 50 Index decreased by 11.62 points to reach 8,836.04 points, despite an increase of 0.13 percent. This involved a stock volume of 287.8 million shares conducted in 28,718 deals, valued at KWD 52.7 million (roughly USD 160.7 million).
