Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday with the All Share Index losing 65.21 points, ending at 8,799.60 points, a decrease of 0.74 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the bourse witnessed the trading of 234.2 million shares valued at KWD 60.2 million, approximately USD 183.6 million, across 19,124 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a decline of 99.51 points, bringing it to 8,176.52 points, a drop of 1.20 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 125.2 million shares in 10,792 transactions, valued at KWD 23.2 million, around USD 70.7 million.
The Premier Market Index also experienced a reduction, losing 60.10 points to reach 9,389.26 points, a 0.64 percent decrease. This was the result of 109 million shares traded across 8,332 transactions, with a value of KWD 37 million, roughly USD 112.8 million.
Furthermore, the Main 50 Index fell by 135.63 points to 8,657.07 points, down by 1.54 percent. The volume of shares traded was 91 million, conducted through 7,680 deals, with a value of KWD 18.6 million, or approximately USD 56.7 million.
