Kuwait Bourse Experiences Slight Decline in Trading

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index lost 0.69 points to reach 8,893.75 points, a decrease of 0.01 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 469.15 million shares valued at KWD 93.5 million (roughly USD 285.17 million) were traded through 27,465 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a decline of 16.27 points, settling at 8,454.35 points, which represents a 0.19 percent increase. This was achieved through 352.7 million shares executed via 19,492 transactions, amounting to a value of KWD 48.8 million (approximately USD 148.8 million).

The Premier Market Index, in contrast, witnessed a gain of 3.17 points, reaching 9,442.84 points, marking an increase of 0.03 percent. This was accomplished through 116.3 million shares conducted via 7,973 transactions valued at KWD 44.7 million (about USD 136.3 million).

Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index saw a decline of 56.12 points, closing at 8,565.90 points, a drop of 0.65 percent. This occurred through a stock volume of 125 million shares completed in 7,731 deals, valued at KWD 21.8 million (around USD 66.4 million).
