Doha: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index declining by 113.82 points, settling at 8,850.04 points, marking a decrease of 1.27 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 296.2 million shares being exchanged, valued at KWD 88.18 million, approximately USD 268.9 million, across 21,443 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a decline of 96.18 points, closing at 8,221.66 points, which represents a drop of 1.16 percent. This occurred through 130.3 million shares traded in 10,158 transactions, with a total value of KWD 24.2 million, or roughly USD 73.8 million.
The Premier Market Index fell by 123.78 points, ending at 9,443.53 points, a decrease of 1.29 percent. This was the result of 165.8 million shares being traded across 11,285 transactions, with a total value of KWD 63.9 million, approximately USD 194.8 million. Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index decreased by 120.47 points to reach 8,595.51 points, down by 1.38 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 84.7 million shares, completed in 6,453 deals, amounting to a value of KWD 17.7 million, or about USD 53.9 million.
