Kuwait city: Kuwait bourse closed its trading on Tuesday with a decline in its All Share Index by 60.94 points, or 0.71 percent, reaching 8,579.72 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, as many as 561.2 million shares were traded through 25,345 cash transactions, with a value of KWD 153.4 million (roughly USD 467.8 million).
The Main Market Index went down by 47.44 points or 0.60 percent, reaching 7,878.09 points, through the trading of 223.2 million shares via 13,416 cash transactions, worth KWD 32.3 million (around USD 98.5 million).
The Premier Market Index fell by 67.33 points, or 0.73 percent, to reach 9,178.68 points, with 338 million shares traded in 11,029 transactions, valued at KWD 121.11 million (approximately USD 369.3 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index rose by 4.21 points, or 0.05 percent, reaching 7,989.76 points, through the trading of 151.2 million shares in 7,865 cash transactions, with a value of KWD 25 million (roughly USD 76.2 million).
