Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index gaining 64.29 points, reaching 8,840.28 points, marking an increase of 0.73 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 892.15 million shares were traded, valued at KWD 153.3 million, approximately USD 467.5 million, through 39,351 transactions. The Main Market Index rose by 88.17 points, reaching 8,579.71 points, an increase of 1.04 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 626.3 million shares in 27,801 transactions, valued at KWD 80.2 million, roughly USD 244.6 million.
The Premier Market Index also experienced an increase, gaining 61.51 points to reach 9,342.07 points, up by 0.66 percent. This was accomplished through the trading of 265.8 million shares in 11,550 transactions, valued at KWD 73.10 million, approximately USD 222.9 million.
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index saw a rise of 155.06 points, achieving a level of 8,867.37 points with a gain of 1.78 percent. This increase was facilitated by a stock volume of 423.4 million shares, executed in 16,363 deals, valued at KWD 54.12 million, approximately USD 165 million.
