Kuwait Bourse Records Mixed Performances as All Share Index Declines

Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday with the All Share Index losing 17.56 points, reaching 7,914.97 points, marking a decrease of 0.22 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 425.6 million shares exchanged, with a value of KWD 101.4 million, approximately USD 310.2 million, through 24,202 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a decline of 108.3 points, landing at 7,188.47 points, down by 1.48 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 277.3 million shares in 14,804 transactions, valued at KWD 47.4 million, which is about USD 145 million.

In contrast, the Premier Market Index experienced a slight increase, gaining 4.24 points to reach 8,487.25 points, up by 0.05 percent. This increase was facilitated by 148.2 million shares traded across 9,398 transactions, with a total value of KWD 53.9 million, roughly USD 164.9 million.

Moreover, the bourse's Main 50 Index rose by 254.76 points, reaching 7,052.62 points, an increase of 3.49 percent. This rise was supported by a stock volume of 224.5 million shares, executed in 11,166 deals at a value of KWD 40.17 million, approximately USD 122.9 million.
