Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with a notable shift in various indices. While the All Share Index lost 71.12 points, settling at 8,818.78 points with a decrease of 0.81 percent, performance across other indices showed gains.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index increased by 47.51 points, reaching 8,135.20 points, marking a 0.59 percent rise. This was achieved through the trading of 127.2 million shares across 8,719 transactions, amassing a value of KWD 21 million, approximately USD 64 million.
On the other hand, the Premier Market Index experienced a rise, gaining 80.41 points to reach 9,424.15 points, an increase of 0.86 percent. This was facilitated by the trading of 190.5 million shares through 10,318 transactions, with a total value of KWD 67.6 million, roughly USD 206 million.
Additionally, the Main 50 Index rose by 81.78 points, reaching 8,617.72 points, up by 0.96 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 87.3 million shares conducted in 5,579 deals, valued at KWD 14.12 million, or approximately USD 43.3 million.
