Kuwait Bourse Sees Positive Gains with All Share Index Up by 0.15 Percent

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 13 points to reach 8,908.33 points, an increase of 0.15 percent. As many as 705 million shares valued at KWD 152.3 million (roughly USD 464.5 million) were traded via 34,833 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index saw an uptick of 65.22 points, reaching 8,523.25 points, an increase of 0.77 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 495.19 million shares, executed via 24,735 transactions, with a total value of KWD 77.9 million (roughly USD 237.5 million).

The Premier Market Index experienced a modest gain of 0.60 points, closing at 9,444.55 points, a rise of 0.01 percent. This was accomplished through 209.8 million shares traded in 10,098 transactions, valued at KWD 74.3 million (roughly USD 226.6 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index increased by 87.80 points, reaching 8,847.66 points, a growth of 1 percent. This was the result of a stock volume of 303.4 million shares, conducted in 12,889 deals, with a total transaction value of KWD 47.8 million (roughly USD 145.7 million).
