Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday with the All Share Index recording a gain of 62.44 points, closing at 8293.37 points, which represents an increase of 0.76 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, trading activity was vibrant with 536.13 million shares exchanged, amassing a total value of KWD 120 million (approximately USD 396 million) across 30,149 transactions. The Main Market Index climbed by 87.55 points, finishing at 7251.11 points, an increase of 1.22 percent. This was achieved through 315.83 million shares, negotiated in 18,724 transactions, with a valuation of KWD 43.8 million (around USD 144.54 million).
The Premier Market Index also saw an upward movement, gaining 59.25 points to close at 8963.22, marking a rise of 0.67 percent. A total of 220.29 million shares were traded in 11,425 transactions, valued at KWD 76.27 million (roughly USD 251.6 million). Additionally, the Main 50 Index increased by 62.54 points, reaching 7152.97 points, reflecting a growth of 0.88 percent, with a stock volume of 199.6 million shares executed in 8,723 deals at a value of KWD 23.8 million (around USD 259 million).
