Kuwait Condemns Attack on Saudi Hospital in El Fasher, Sudan

Kuwait City: The State of Kuwait on Sunday expressed its condemnation of the attack on the Saudi hospital in El Fasher, Sudan, which resulted in a number of casualties.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the necessity of protecting civilians, healthcare facilities, and vital infrastructure in accordance with international law and international humanitarian law. The statement also stressed the importance of implementing United Nations Security Council Resolution 2736, adopted in June 2024, which calls for lifting the siege on El Fasher, protecting civilians, de-escalating tensions, and allowing the entry of humanitarian aid.
