Kuwait City: Al Qadsia SC reached the semifinals of the Kuwait Crown Prince Cup football tournament with a 3-1 victory over Salmiya today in the quarterfinals.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Qadsia SC took the lead in the 12th minute through Athbi Shehab, followed by a second goal from Hussein Hadeiri in the 61st minute. Ismail Khafi added a third for Al Qadsia in the 71st minute, while Salmiya reduced the deficit in the 82nd minute with a goal from Emad Al Luwati.

Al Qadsia will face its rival Al Arabi in the semifinals in a Kuwaiti football derby scheduled for next Monday evening. Earlier today, Al Arabi had defeated Fahaheel with a 3-0 win in the quarterfinals.
