Kuwait, Italy Sign Military Cooperation Agreement

Rome: Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto and his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Salem Al Sabah, who is visiting Italy, signed a military cooperation agreement on Tuesday. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation, coordination, and the exchange of expertise in various military fields, and to develop a joint operational framework between the Kuwaiti and Italian armed forces.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense stated in a press release that the two sides discussed issues of common concern during the meeting, particularly those related to regional and international developments and the efforts being made to achieve security and stability. The statement added that the meeting also reviewed bilateral relations and explored prospects for close cooperation in the military and defense fields, as well as ways to enhance the strategic defense partnership between the two countries.
