Kuwait City: The State of Kuwait expressed Tuesday its welcome of the agreement to integrate all civil and military institutions in northeastern Syria into the Syrian state administration, considering it an important step in the efforts to rebuild the state and its institutions and enhance security and stability in Syria.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Kuwait's stance in support of Syria's sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity.

The Syrian presidency had previously announced the signing of an agreement stipulating the integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into state institutions, emphasizing the unity of Syrian territory and rejecting division.
