Doha: Kuwait's General Staff of the Armed Forces announced a short while ago that the country's air defense systems are intercepting hostile missile and drone attacks following what it described as the latest Iranian aggression.

According to Qatar News Agency, the General Staff released a statement indicating that any explosion sounds heard by the public are the result of the air defense systems intercepting the incoming attacks.

The statement also urged the public to follow all safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
