Doha: A delegation from Kuwait's Ministry of Justice reviewed Qatar's legal and judicial experience, including mechanisms for delivering legal services and real estate registration and notarization, during a visit to the Ministry of Justice on the sidelines of the Doha Legal Forum.
According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation attended presentations by Director of Real Estate Registration, Mohammed Hassan Al Rumaihi, and Director of the Documentation Department, Areej Mohsen Al Shammari, on the ministry's legal services system, access procedures, and advances in digital transformation that have converted services to user-friendly electronic platforms.
The delegation also toured the ministry's service center at Rawdat Al Hammama Government Complex, where they learned about procedures at external branches, recent updates to the SAK program that have digitized most registration and notarization services, and ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and security through digital channels.
Director of the External Services Department, Ali Al Hajri, emphasized that the ministry's digital upgrades aim to improve efficiency and allow users to complete transactions securely through digital platforms. He said the ministry continues to strengthen its technical infrastructure in line with Qatar's broader push toward comprehensive digital transformation.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Kuwaiti delegation praised Qatar's legal and judicial experience and the remarkable progress it has achieved across various fields, describing it as an advanced model for developing judicial services. They also expressed their aspiration to strengthen legal and judicial cooperation with Qatar and benefit from its advanced experience in this area, in a way that enhances the Gulf judicial experience and cooperation between the relevant departments in the justice ministries of GCC states.
