Doha: The price of Kuwaiti crude oil rose by 8 cents to USD 64.94 per barrel in Friday's trading, compared with USD 64.86 per barrel the previous day.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement issued on Saturday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said the increase reflected a modest uptick in prices.
In global markets, Brent crude futures edged down by two cents to USD 70.69 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell by 22 cents to USD 65.22 per barrel.
