Kuwait’s Power and Water Facilities Targeted by Iranian Attacks

Kuwait: Several power generation and water distillation plants in Kuwait came under Iranian attacks for the fourth consecutive day, according to an announcement by Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy on Tuesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that these attacks led to fires at multiple facilities. Emergency teams, in coordination with Kuwait Fire Force and security authorities, responded immediately to manage and extinguish the fires effectively.

The Ministry further revealed that they have assessed the damage and are currently working on repair plans. In response to the attacks, several generation units were temporarily taken out of service as a precautionary operational measure. This step aims to protect the equipment and ensure the stability of the electricity and water networks.
