Barcelona: FC Barcelona clinched its 29th Spanish league title after defeating Real Madrid, 2-0 in El Clásico on Sunday in the 35th round of La Liga. According to Qatar News Agency, the victory was secured by goals from Marcus Rashford in the ninth minute and Ferran Torres in the 18th minute, allowing Barcelona to retain the trophy for the second consecutive season. With the win, Barcelona reached 91 points at the top of the standings, avenging a 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium earlier in the season. Real Madrid remains in second place with 77 points and will end the season without a major trophy. This marks the second title Real Madrid has lost to Barcelona this season, following a 3-2 defeat in the Spanish Super Cup final held in Saudi Arabia in January.
