Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Labour Minister, visited Invita Bahrain as part of his visits to institutions supporting the ministry’s programs in hiring national cadres.
The minister met with Dr. Adel Abdulla Salem, Invita Board Chairman.
The ministry is intensifying its efforts towards integrating citizens into qualitative sectors and providing them with skills to fit new jobs and professions in the labour market, including IT and its supporting professions.
Invita Bahrain works in the field of business processing, managing and operating call centres, providing customer relationship management services, IT, providing infrastructure, developing applications and networks, and managing social media.
During the visit, Humaidan was briefed on the company's efforts to employ Bahrainis, as the company has 402 employees, of whom 342 are Bahrainis.
Invita Board Chairman praised the efforts of the Ministry of Labour in providing the private sector with qualified citizens and the incentives offered by the government, including subsidizing the wages of Bahraini workers who have proven themselves in various workplaces.
