Gaza - Together - Artists from South Africa and Palestine released the first Palestinian-South African song in the city of Johannesburg to express the bonds of brotherhood and the common history of struggle between the two countries. The artists chose two artworks that express the shared suffering from the apartheid and settler colonialism systems. They said that this action comes at a time when the South African government has taken the most important act of solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, by filing a case against Israel in the International Court of Justice on charges of committing the crime of genocide. The song was performed by the Mavericks band from South Africa and Haider Eid from Palestine. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tibmfitD_kc Source: Maan News Agency
