The heads of state and governments of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states signed a number of proposals and decisions aimed at deepening cooperation in various fields. They also signed the Astana Declaration issued by the Council of Heads of State of the SCO. The decisions and proposals signed by the heads of state of the member states include the draft development strategy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation until 2035, and the proposals submitted by the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states to improve the activities of the Organisation. A cooperation program to combat terrorism, separatism and extremism for the years 2025-2027, the anti-narcotics strategy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation for the years 2024-2029 and the work program for its implementation, in addition to the strategy for developing cooperation in the energy sector until 2030, the action plan for implementing the strategy of economic development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation until 2030, a nd mechanisms for financial support for the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation were also approved.
