Lebanese, Irish Prime Ministers Discuss Latest Developments in Southern Lebanon

Beirut: Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met today with his Irish counterpart, Micheal Martin, to discuss the situation in southern Lebanon, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency quoted a statement issued today by the Lebanese Cabinet, saying that Salam reviewed the situation in Lebanon, particularly in the south, during his meeting with Martin in Beirut.

Separately, the Irish Prime Minister visited his country's contingent serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
