Beirut: HE Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met Tuesday in Beirut with Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of the Quint Committee on Lebanon. The ambassadors of the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United States of America, and the French Republic extended their congratulations to HE Berri on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan and on the new government's winning of the parliament's confidence.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting agenda included the latest developments in southern Lebanon and the necessity of a complete Israeli withdrawal from it, along with the follow-up on the five-nation group's efforts to assist Lebanon in this regard.

Meanwhile, HE Berri expressed his appreciation for the Quint Committee's support for his country.
